Most multivitamins are built for the label.
This one is built for the evidence.
Most products overdose a handful of nutrients for marketing, lean on cheap inactive forms, and pad the label with fillers. MicroVitamin is the opposite — a single daily formula where every ingredient earns its place, in its active form, at a dose the research actually supports.
Third-party tested for purity & label accuracy
Every batch is independently tested for heavy metals and purity, so what's on the label is what's in the bottle. Certificates of analysis are published on the testing page.
“Why not just buy a cheap multivitamin?”
It’s a fair question, and it deserves a straight answer. Six differences, and what each one actually means for you.
The B-vitamin forms
Why it matters Many people carry a common gene variant (MTHFR C677T) that slows that conversion down. Starting with the active form takes the question off the table.
The trace minerals
Why it matters In a head-to-head bioavailability study, zinc bisglycinate was absorbed about 43% better than zinc gluconate. A milligram on the label is only worth what your body absorbs.
The doses
Why it matters A bigger number on a label is not a bigger result in a trial. The job of a multivitamin is to fill the gaps in a good diet, not to flood the system. The reasoning behind each dose is on the science page.
What’s left out
Why it matters A Cochrane review of 78 randomised trials in 296,707 people linked beta-carotene and vitamin E supplements to a higher risk of dying from any cause. Vitamin A and vitamin E are stored in the body rather than flushed out, so any excess builds up, and most people already get enough of both from food.
What’s added
Why it matters This is the part that replaces six to eight separate bottles.
The testing
Why it matters The independent test results are published on the testing page, including the one we did not pass, along with what was changed in response.
What the same ingredients cost bought separately
The like-for-like comparison is not against a cheap multivitamin, because a cheap multivitamin does not contain these. It is against buying them one bottle at a time. Purchasing these nutrients separately would cost you roughly $118.21 per month. MicroVitamin brings them all together for $58.50 per month on a 3-month subscription, a saving of $59.71 a month.

Why the coated ingredients cost more
A multivitamin is not a row of separate pills. It is every ingredient pressed together in one capsule for up to two years. Vitamin C breaks down on contact with air, minerals speed that up (copper especially), and some ingredients draw in moisture that spoils the ones sitting next to them.
So the fragile ingredients in MicroVitamin, vitamin D3, vitamin K2, lutein, zeaxanthin and lycopene, each get their own microencapsulated coating. It keeps them apart from everything else, so they are still at full strength on the expiry date. It is part of the reason the same ingredients cost more in this bottle, and you would never know from a label whether it had been done.
If simple insurance against a thin diet is all you want, a basic multivitamin will do that job, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Whether the rest is worth it to you is a fair question, and the working is all on the science page.
Founded to do the opposite of the supplement industry
MicroVitamin was founded after years of frustration with supplements that overdose for marketing, use cheap inactive forms, and pad the label with fillers.
The brief was simple: follow the evidence where it's strong, and leave out what it doesn't support. We'd rather under-promise and be accurate than overclaim.
